The Somali Bantu Community of Greater Houston is dedicated to the education and acclimation of the Somali refugees and other immigrants into the American society. Our services are provided by staff with various background, but with the same passion of service and dedication to the mission of our organization. Somali Bantus began arriving in Houston, Texas in 2003 and our organization was formed in 2005. Misson

Currently in the Houston, Texas area, there are over 720 Somali Bantu refugees. We currently also partner with the Bhutanese American Association of Houston and other multi-ethnic organizations to ensure that all refugees and immigrants have access to our services.
